The vision for Seawalk began with a simple yet ambitious idea: to expand the owner's property by acquiring the adjacent lot and creating a dedicated entertainment and wellness retreat that complements their main residence. As one of the few double-lot properties on the Manhattan Beach Walk streets, it offers a rare combination of privacy, luxury, and proximity to downtown and the beach. Architecturally, the new structure mirrors the traditional charm of the main home with matching shingles, wood-wrapped columns, and lighting, while the interiors introduce a refined evolution through floor-to-ceiling wood paneling, herringbone floors, and tongue-and-groove ceilings. In tandem, the main home underwent an extensive remodel to open it to the new yard and pool, with upgrades including new doors and windows, a reimagined kitchen, and refreshed wall and ceiling finishes that elevate its overall quality and connection to the outdoors. Every detail, from lighting to HVAC grills, was meticulously coordinated using Building Information Modeling to achieve flawless exactness within the tight site. The result is a seamless extension of the owner's lifestyle, complete with a state-of-the-art gym, sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, and bespoke cocktail lounge. At its heart lies the largest pool on the walk streets, featuring an innovative moveable floor that transforms it from a turf lawn to an eight-foot-deep pool at the push of a button, an engineering first that perfectly embodies Seawalk's spirit of design, ingenuity, and coastal sophistication.
